Discover the details that made Daisy's celebration feel feel so special
If you're currently on the hunt for your dream wedding dress, one of the best pieces of advice we can give you is to keep an open mind. It's good to walk into a wedding dress shop with an idea of what you're looking for. Maybe armed with a couple of silhouettes that you think will suit you, or the name of a designer who's caught your eye. But don't restrict yourself to only trying on dresses with that silhouette, or designed by that brand, as you'll be denying the opportunity for discovery. A lesson our real bride Daisy learnt during her bridal appointment with us, an experience that led to her choosing a style she would have never picked out herself.
Daisy recently tied the knot wearing the stunning Daisy from Enzoani, a unique gown that can be instantly converted from a dreamy A-line into a sultry mermaid! Take a glimpse into Daisy's wedding to Jack and discover how she put her celebration together
How did you two meet?
We met at a rooftop bar in Stratford called Roof East in the summer of 2018.
How did you get engaged?
Jack proposed to me in Crete in 2022! He'd prepared rose petals and tea lights leading up to a fire pit where he proposed, it was very romantic.
What was your favourite moment(s) from the wedding?
Our wedding band were just amazing. We had The Function Band, and they did a hip hop mash up during dinner that got all of our guests up and dancing! It was brilliant.
Tell us all about your wedding dress!
I absolutely love the details of the lace, the tropical flowers I can make out on it and the sparkle. I love the nude colour on my skin, the sheer parts and the gorgeous low back. I felt so beautiful and feminine the moment I tried it on.
During my pin fitting, I noticed a pair of lace sleeves on the side and asked if we could try to create a detachable sleeve for the ceremony, and it completely elevated the look.
What was the general decor for your big day?
Our theme was a blend of pink and orange. We wanted it to feel bright and summery overall.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?
Be open to trying on any style, and don’t be afraid to be bold with accessories! They can really transform your look.
Do you have any local suppliers you would like to recommend?
We can’t recommend our suppliers enough. Corlia Creations was our stationery supplier, and they did so much for us. As did Elisha’s Floral Design who created the most eye-catching signs and unique venue decor for us.
How was your Bellissima experience?
The whole Bellissima experience was wonderful. The shop is stunning, and you feel like a princess from your very first appointment. They pay such attention to detail. My fittings with Dale were always amazing too. He really understood my vision and made me feel so confident.
