Well, it certainly was the dream experience for our real bride Leah, who married her now husband Aron out in Orlando, Florida!
The home of theme parks, alligators, and lots of lakes played host to this lovely Essex couple and their gang of loved ones. We had the pleasure of finding Leah the perfect wedding dress for the occasion, and we think it looked stunning on the big day! The ideal style for her vintage inspired destination wedding, and a look that effortlessly flattered her.
The Real Destination Wedding of Leah & Aron in Orlando, Florida
Today, we'd like to share a few details about Leah's experience finding her dream bridal at Bellissima Weddings, as well as some info about her big day in both Orlando, and Essex.
How did you two meet?
We met online, so no long story there lol!
How did you get engaged?
Aron proposed to me the day after I gave birth to our little boy, Charlie.
What was your favourite moment(s) from the wedding?
I have so many lovely memories from our wedding, but in particular, my dad seeing me for the first time on the big day was a really special moment. Exchanging our vows too, was just all so perfect.
Tell us all about your wedding dress. What details do you love, how did it make you feel?
I wore the Mori Lee Katherine dress in blush and honestly, my wedding dress was simply the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. I felt the best I've ever felt in a very long time. It fitted in all the places I was insecure about. My favourite part of my dress, well, there were a few things. I loved the sleeves, the sheer back and the A-line shape, so flattering.
Also, my sister got married a year before me and got her dress from Bellissima. To go with her gown she purchased a belt, and I had that sewn onto my dress as my something borrowed. Which was so special.
What was the general decor for your big day?
We had a vintage style wedding decorated in an array of blush, cream and white roses. Alongside some open garden roses and eucalyptus to add a bit of greenery. Decor-wise, we had dark farm tables with gold chairs and twinkling chandeliers. It was simple, but stunning.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?
Go in with an open mind and enjoy every moment of it. The girls at Bellissima are amazing, and their knowledge will help you massively.
Do you have any local suppliers you would like to recommend?
We got married abroad, and I would not have done it any other way. We did also have a party back home, and the suppliers for that were great.
A special thank you to the suppliers below

How was your Bellissima experience
My experience with Bellissima was so stress-free and perfect. I was super nervous trying on wedding dresses, as I'm not your typical girly girl who normally wears dresses. Which always made me think it'll be hard to find 'the one'. But Lilly was extremely helpful from start to finish and made everything so comfortable. Even when I had to go back to the shop for certain things, they were all wonderful and so helpful.
